Printer error: hdcPrn is NULL
Description
A printer error can occur if a Report is defined using a specific printer that does not exist.
Discussion
A default printer can be assigned to a report when designing reports. If the printer is not available to Alpha Anywhere when the report is run, the following error can occur:
Printer error: preview - hdcPrn is NULL.
To resolve this error, you must do one of the following:
- Change the report to use the Default Printer.
- Specify an explicit printer that exists and can be accessed by the system generating the report. Do not choose the built-in AlphaFive printers as these are virtual printers used for PDF generation.
